Oxfam America attended the Convention for the Common Good this past weekend July 11th-13th at the Sheraton Philadelphia in Center City.
The Convention unified religious and social groups on the platform of common good for all people.
Many social issues such as health care, poverty, economic justice, immigration and global warming were discussion topics with community, legislative and religious leaders expressing their vision for the common good.
Philadelphia Action Corps was proud to be part of this event and promoting change to improve conditions of people living in poverty and suffering from social injustice around the world.
